Peter is uniquely skilled in hi-tech, hyper growth, global and virtual business environments where dynamic change is the norm and strategic alignment, organizational agility and sustainable performance are essential to business success. Peter Gaarn has over 25 years of business experience in planning, designing and implementing strategic change initiatives. During the past 15 years, Peter has been with the Hewlett Packard Company in a variety of strategic roles: Director of Culture and Community Building, Global Program Manager of Executive Development Programs, Global Program Manager for "The Rules of the Garage," Manager and Senior Consultant for Organizational Architecture and Change.
What distinguishes Peter in this area is his broad set of competencies and his ability to drive strategic change efforts from concept to results. Peter obtained his Masters in Social Welfare (MSW) from the University of California Berkeley and his BA in Psychology from the University of California in Santa Cruz. Peter is on the Board of the Santa Cruz Community Counseling Center, which is the largest non-profit agency in Santa Cruz County. He was Chairman of the Board from 2000 to 2004.
