20 years, Ms. Piras has driven corporate change and growth in both
leadership and consultative roles. Carol held leadership positions in
defense, hi-tech and start- up industries. As a leader, she developed
and implemented business strategies, processes and plans in a variety of
corporate functions such as Sales, Operations, HR and Organizational
Development. This varied background allowed Carol to build her own
consulting firm specializing in business strategy implementation working
with executive teams in start-up to medium-sized companies. Her coaching
and consulting work with executives enables her to keenly understand the
relationship between individual, group and system synergies; hence, the
passion with leadership development. Her athletic background brings a
unique perspective in helping teams improve their ability to work

Coaching Style Carol enjoys working with a variety of leaders who possess divergent styles. It is important for leaders to be open to learning about themselves and their style. Having experienced many leadership positions herself, Carol's coaching style is consultative and strategic — with an operational bent. Background and Education Carol has lived in the Bay Area for over 25 years. With a Psychology degree from UC Irvine, Carol enjoys the process of life long learning and has taken a number of institutes in presentation skills, communication skills, and leadership development. She holds certification in a number of programs including PDI's 360 leadership Assessments, Myers Briggs, ODR Change Management, and Managing Personal Growth.
