David Swanson

David Swanson, M.A.; SPHR, offers results-oriented Organizational Design and Strategic Human Resources experience and expertise in both large global organizations and start-up environments. He has implemented a number of key Human Resource initiatives that support the strategic initiatives of Fortune 1000, emerging and high-growth organizations with an emphasis on impact versus action.

His current executive role is vice-president of human resources for Business Objects Americas, the leading business intelligence software provider. Prior senior leadership experience has focused primarily on supporting customer facing teams including Nortel Networks, National Semiconductor, and other high technology organizations. David offers his expertise as a business speaker and Adjunct Lecturer for the University of California, Santa Cruz Extension in human resources and executive leadership,  as well as the Northern California Human Resources Association facilitating professional certification preparation courses.
